There are two main factors pivotal to running the rice husk power plant

1. Rice husk, the essential fuel for producing electricity. At least 500 tons of rice husk are needed each day and more than 20 rice mills are available in the area. This will make the collection of rice husk much easier with no transportation charge.

2. Water. 2200 Cm of water is needed each day to run the rice husk power plant. The Nan River is just 1 km way from the site of the plant; therefore; Tambon Horkrai becomes the ideal location for rice husk power plant.
